The Dorset Green Skills Hub (DGSH) will drive and enhance innovation in green skills locally, supporting the UK’s Net Zero target and the transition to becoming the world’s leading green economy.
This hub will become the natural home for bringing together employers, green experts and training providers, working together to embed sustainable practices into work, teaching and learning provision and daily lives.
Our Sectors & Skills
We want to stimulate employer demand for and investment in skills leading to more sustainable business. By raising awareness of the economic and environmental benefits of embracing new technologies, we aim to drive innovation through courses, impactful professional development, events, demonstrations, and drop-in workshops. can quickly and efficiently meet the growth in demand for use of green technologies.

The Further Education (FE) and Training sector has a vital role to play in educating the pipeline of workers for the future to combat climate change. Dorset Green Skills Hub is a partnership formed to develop sustainability skills at all levels in education and the workplace.
We are proactively working to make a positive difference to reduce the impact of climate change locally and help Dorset communities understand sustainability and how they can make small changes to make a real difference to our environment, health, and wellbeing.
