Across Dorset there is a growing need for a technically-skilled and professionally-aware workforce to drive the construction industry forward. Weymouth College offers a full range of hands-on construction courses – from entry level through to HNC – delivered by expert teaching staff in our Centre of Excellence for Construction, which has seen our facilities upgraded and remodelled.
Our courses include Green Skills in construction, aimed at upskilling those with existing electrical or plumbing qualifications. These courses will help to create a trained workforce for a greener, more sustainable future for Dorset.

- Supporting a greener future We offer fully-funded Green Skills courses in construction, including the installation and maintenance of electric vehicle charging equipment, solar photovoltaic systems and heat pumps.
